About Little Picasso
Who doesn't love to draw, paint and create?
Life takes over and we forget the joy we had as children playing with colours, textures and shapes, experimenting with our little hands, eyes wide as we realise that we have created something that looks great!
Little Picasso was a long time dream. Covid put the brakes on beginning the classes, but as we continue to get over the pandemic, we have decided to put on a few art and craft workshops in the area local to us (Sutton Coldfield).
We aim to give children ages 5-12 a full or half day, of art and craft activities, a fun day and a worthwhile introduction to sample some creative adventures - from origami, card collage, painting, drawing, fabrics, to clay work, paint techniques, and craft items for your home (probably their bedrooms!)
We aim to encourage your children to think outside the box, to push their creative boundaries, to develop and own their own style. Creating in a group environment helps children:
- Improve social skills.
- Foster new friendships.
- Promote self esteem.
- Develop patience.
- Develop teamwork.
- Be happier.
- Enjoy sharing.
- Show empathy toward others.
Classes are limited to 20 children, and we have creative staff (all enhanced DBS checked) to supervise your children, make sure they are having a good time, help with fiddly bits, or tricky bits (like glue guns), or to buddy up with your child if they need it.
Children will have breaks throughout, where we ask you to provide a snack(s) and a drink. Children coming for the full day will require lunch as well. We have access to a kitchen, plently of room to run around (including an outside playground - weather permitting!!)
